What does my_sources.rosinstal refer to? [closed]

I'm a ROS newbie and following the tutorials in order to build an android app to interface with ROS. The steps described here android/Tutorials/hydro/Installation - Ros Development Environment , Diet workspace (can't post links sorry) mention my_resources.rosinstall, this doesn't work when executed, so i guess my_resources is actually some other directory? Or did it miss something earlier?
