How to use ROS with NAO Robot?

Hi every body,

I just started a project with Nao Robot, and I need to detect some shapes and those colors to move them... Could I use this platform (ROS) for my project?!

I think the point is that yes you can use ROS for that purpose, but you'll need much more specific questions to get good help.
