Hi all,

I successfully created a map using RGBDSLAM package. But i didn't found any tutorial explaining how to use this map to navigate autonomously.

Is there any tutorial or thread explaining how to use the created map in navigation?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! which kind of map you create with RGBDSLAM? An OctoMap? I was playing around with his 1 year ago and at the time there was no localization module capable of using OctoMaps...

UPDATE Apparently this does what you want, but I never tried it

Hello!

I would use the Turtlebot tutorial here for learning how to use move_base and amcl. The tutorial is specific to the turtlebot but it can be generalized to any robot.

If you have a specific question about something in that tutorial I can try to explain it for you.
