Well, that's theoretically correct but since a node is forced to connect to rosout and to clock topics:

  • topic: /rosout
    • to: /rosout
    • direction: outbound
    • transport: TCPROS
    • topic: /clock

    • direction: inbound

Generally those topics run where roscore runs.
