Possible causes: (1) IP address changed (need to reset ROS_MASTER_URI); (2) weak wireless signal (need a wifi antenna nearby); (3) slam map is not properly saved; ...

Possible causes:

(1) if the ad-hoc network automatically obtains IP address, it may get another IP address changed (need to reset ROS_MASTER_URI); which is different from the ROS_MASTER_URI that you previously set;

(2) weak perhaps the wireless signal (need is weak or unstable, so you need to place a wifi antenna nearby); nearby;

(3) perhaps the slam map is not properly saved; ...saved, so check the path of the map file.
