Hi there, We've (Azure Edge Robotics at Microsoft) tried to minimize the differences between building a ROS node on Windows and Linux. I'm inclined to say this would work, but I personally have not tried it.

We're working with the ROS2.net community to bring ROS2 to Mixed Reality Toolkit for Unity, UWP and Hololens. We'll have more to share about this soon.
