Add following environment variables to your .bashrc
file
source /opt/ros/kinetic/setup.bash
export ROS_PACKAGE_PATH=/home/user/catkin_ws:/opt/ros/kinetic/share:/opt/ros/kinetic/stacks
export ROS_WORKSPACE=/home/user/catkin_ws
