Did you install flyCapture2? You'll need it to have the proper drivers to run this ROS node. Some other gotcha's I had:

  • had to revert to Ubuntu 14.04.1 to install the prerequisite libs (I was on 14.04.2) because of a Ubuntu bug
  • needed to install 64 bit version of flycapture even though the filters on ptgrey.com/support/downloads pointed me to a 32 bit version.
