I solved this problem by using the following command:
sudo apt-get install ros-electric-turtlebot-robot
It works great now.

I solved this problem by using the following command:
sudo apt-get install ros-electric-turtlebot-robot
It works great now.now. I did not need to mess with the diamondback installation at all or reinstall anything. Please bear in mind that I had already installed ros-electric on this laptop through conventional means.
