Seems I found a guide, though I am having the same issue as before..I get the permission denied message.
http://www.ros.org/wiki/ROS/Tutorials/StackInstallation This should really be on the main tutorial page at the top in my opinion. Kind of silly its not there. Especially for newer linux users.

Seems Well it seems I found was just having a guide, though permission problem and I am having should have realized how to fix it. I tried changing the same issue as before..I get folder to 775 before but the permission denied message. trick in here helped.

Anyone trying to find the top in my opinion. Kind of silly its not there.
