Has anyone got hector_turtlebot working on groovu or hydro?

I want a turtlebot with a hokuyo laser scanner for simulation. I am able to get it in gazebo using sdf but not able to get them into ros, after googling found there is already a model (hector_turtlebot) anyone know how to use it in gazebo and integrate with ROS?
