Turtlebot simulator gmapping error

Hi all,

When I start up the turtlebot simulator and then try to launch the gmapping demo, I get error sequences like this:

[DEBUG] [1367533440.426734672, 80.975000000]: MessageFilter [target=/odom ]: Removed oldest message because buffer is full, count now 5 (frame_id=/laser, stamp=80.716000)

[DEBUG] [1367533440.426796831, 80.975000000]: MessageFilter [target=/odom ]: Added message in frame /laser at time 80.969, count now 5

Rviz says that it is not receiving a map from the topic /occupancyGrid. I have no idea what is causing this error, any sort of help or direction would be very appreciated. Thank you.
