version for iRobot

Hi all, i'm preparing my PC to work on iRobot create and my kinect Must i have electric version ?? i'm working now on fuerte ,,should i change it to electric as in tutorials ?

and what if i'm working on variety packages on fuerte and not sure that it will work well on electric ?

sounds like you want to update to a later distribution, but fuerte is a later version than electric

coz can't install turtlebot SDK on fuerte !!
