Turtlebot2 ROS First time setup Errors
I am trying to set up a new Turtlebot2 under ROS operating system and when trying to launch the kobuki base minimal launch and the launch a service to control the base by keyboard I am receiving a cannot contact 192.168.1.121 error. If I try to ping 192.168.1.121 it’s failing. Do I need to be running Ubuntu on my laptop in order to launch these services, or should a Windows 11 PC suffice? I am completely new to ROS operating system and trying to set up a Turtlebot2 for the first time. Since the system is rather old I’m afraid that some of the links may be stale for the set up. Thank you so much for any help. Please let me know if you need any further details, or pictures. I don’t see a way of being able to attach what I’m seeing on the screen to this message i.e. attach a picture. If this is possible please let me know how I could do this. Thanks again.
