Run ROS entirely on a SBC

Hello, I'm trying to run a SLAM-Algorithm with a 360 Lidar (e.g. RPLidar A1M8) only on a SBC without an external PC. Is there any possibility for realizing it? What requirements does my SBC need to meet, Would a Jetson Nano GPU help? I'm looking forward to your answer. Best wishes, Lorenz
