Robot stopped after 10 grids but laserScan keep moving during gmapping
Hello. I'm doing gmapping with rplidar A1 and laserscanmatcher package (to create odom from lidar). Gmapping start and creating map. But after 10 grids in rviz (Or 10meter) robot stops and laserscan keep moving. You can see video here
I'm using: ros-noetic Python3 Ubuntu 20.04

The rplidar A1 does not have a long range. Once your walls exceed that distance, I doubt you're going to get good data from the device.

why not simply try HectorSLAM?

I tried but not getting a good results. Gmapping working fine but 10m problem happened.
