CPU (rspi 4) Core consumption with Lidar (lds-02) on Turtlebot3
I have the Raspberry pi 4, 2GB RAM model of Turtlebot3. When I launch the lidar file from ld08_driver package, it consumes one whole CPU core.
I also tried changing the number of output points (point cloud) that I get from the Lidar, but that didn't change the core consumption.
Does anyone have a similar experience for lds-02 lidar? Does anyone have lds-01 CPU consumption data?
Is it normal for lidar to consume one core? Is there any way to reduce the core consumption?
