Robotnik summit_xl jr2 will not move with message CURRENT_LOOP_SATURED

Hello,

I have a Robotnik Summit-XL JR2 robot running ROS Indigo. For several months a bug has been stopping my robot from moving, a ros info message says CURRENTLOOPSATURED. Tech support has not responded to my inquiry, so I'm asking the community here for help troubleshooting issues with a Summit-XL robot.

I can debug /cmd_vel messages are being properly sent from the joystick to the motor driver node /summit_xl_hw, however I cannot figure out how the motor status logic is set. If anyone has experience please reach out to me.
