Hello, A prototype is being developed, it actually contains a tray. This one contains two laser sensors. One on the right and the other on the left. The main function of this tray is to rise upwards, until the laser sensors no longer detect rails of the train. All what was described is clearly represented in the figure below:

i'm looking for a laser sensor, with thinner spot (point), this sensor will measure the distance between him and the rail, in zone 1 and precisely in zone 2 where there is the part curved.

can you recommend a type of laser 1D (thinner point) that can work with my application? thanks in advance.
