Platform for Moveit

I need to develop a simple robotic arm, this is for a research project. The arm itsself isn't the focus of the project however simply a tool for repeated actions. I'm looking to use ROS and the Moveit package to leverage the work already done in this area.

My question is a platform to host this on. I've seen the Jetson Tx2 dev solution and i've thought of picking that up since it's a simple all in one board. Does anyone have experience in this config Move-it and ROS or is there another platform that would be better to host this solution on?
