I am currently looking for a LIDAR that can be used both indoor and outdoor. My application here is that i need my robot to be able to follow a targeted person since i need the robot to follow the person in both indoor and outdoor condition my range needed should be at least 30m. Is there any recommendation on the LIDAR that i can use which is supported by ROS? Thank you.

Both suppliers have suitable sensors.

But the Hokuyo one is probably better supported.

Hokuyo is cheaper but less durable, in my experience.
