Google Cartographer for online SLAM
Hi, I am trying to use Google cartographer for online SLAM using the VLP-16 LiDAR. I have got the LiDAR to display the point cloud information in rviz, however, I just need a way to launch the cartographer node and then get the cartographer node to communicate with the nodes used by the VLP-16 LiDAR. How do I start the cartographer_node?
Help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hey @Ekow Mensah I am in the exact same situation as you, did you ever figure out how to launch the cartographer_node and connect to the nodes used by the VLP-16 LiDAR? Any help would be appreciated!
