Sending goal to Turtlebot will always avoid obstacles?
Hi! I was wondering which are the exceptions (if any) for turtlebot not to avoid obstacles when moving to a goal? For example, if turtlebot begins with an immediate obstacle in the direction of the goal, will it see it if it's too close?

Do you see the obstacle in the costmap? Maybe provide a rviz screenshot.
