Does it require inter-sensor extrinisic parameter?

I just wanted to be sure about the need for spatio-temporal calibration of sensors. From explanations, it seems that the package can work without sensor synchronization and spatial calibration. Is that true?

One more question Isn't there any report or benchmark showing its performance?
