Hello,

I am Carlos and I am doing my final project of the Master. In this project what I want to do is that a robot imitates people's movements using a Kinect.

First of all, sorry because I know that there is a lot of information about this topic but some of this information is old.

I would like to track the skeleton with kinect360 (model 1).
I can connect to kinect and access to depth camera, with freenect.
But I have read that I need OpenNi, Ni and SensorKinect for the skeleton tracking. The problem is that much of this information is obsolete, because Ni was bought by Apple. Most of the links to download this libraries are fallen. There are another links but I can't compile it, I have an error and OpenNi can't connect to the camera...

Also I try download the binaries of ros-xxx-openni-camera but the version more recent is for ROS fuerte.

Could you recommend me an other way to make the skeleton tracking works? Is the installation easier with kinect version 2?

Thank you very much, Regards.
