Want to use depthimage_to_laserscan in my own code

I am using Kinect in a project ... I want to use depthimagetolaserscan package from github ... but I don't know how to use it in my code ...... like rosrun depthimagetolaserscan depthimagetolaserscan.cpp ..... now how can I use my depth data from /camera/depth/image in this package
