Humanoid robot paradigm

I am trying to build a Gazebo simulation of a humanoid robot from scratch. It would be very helpful if I could find some model formulation which follows common standards, since I am not a ROS expert. Right now I use mainly the REEM-C github code and secondarily NAO's codebase. I was wondering if there are any other humanoid robots which serve as good examples and are somewhat modern implementations (meaning ROS Indigo or later and Gazebo 6 or later).

You might have more luck asking this over at the answers.gazebosim.org site, as there will be far more Gazebo experts on there. Unless you are asking about the way to handle the ROS side of this (ie: ros_control via gazebo_ros_control fi).

I'll close this one for now, but do please report back if/when you get a satisfactory answer on the Gazebo support site.

Please also link us to the question you open on the Gazebo support site. That way we keep things connected.

http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/15223/humanoid-robot-paradigm/ In the meantime, I have found out that there is also the Atlas Gazebo simulation for the DRC available here: http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?cat=drcsim
