As a example of the example I'm wondering about, OpenCV captures a camera's images by typing in not c++ code but their own "commands" code, so, what would ROS's be for capturing sounds from a microphone, or acceleration from a accelometor, or feels by feel sensors? Just wanting to see how long the code commands/keywords are to do the capturing etc.
