Is anyone using the Directed Perception PTU_47 Pan Tilt

We're using the dpput47 pan tilt unit for a project at the surrey space center. The package with the drivers for this unit was downloaded in the past but doesn't seem to be available any more. Is anyone out there still using the package 'dpptu47pantilt_stage'?

We are having a couple of problems using it and are in the process of working out if it's set up correctly or there's a bug in the driver.

It'd be great to know if anyone else out there has experience working with this too.

Thanks,

Pete

In case you're interested: I put up a catkinised version of dp_ptu47_pan_tilt_stage here.

Hi That looks great, we're just looking at sorting this out properly at the moment. Have you used this driver much yourself? If so what version of the PTU firmware are you running? We are about to upgrade ours because the hardware was being unreliable. Thanks.

I'm afraid I don't actually have a PTU myself, I merely put the driver up as I couldn't find it anywhere anymore. Let me know if it works. If not, a report on the issue tracker. Without the actual hw it'll be difficult to fix unless someone provides a PR for it.
