Hi I asked a similar question before, but haven't gotten an answer, so I'm asking again. When I run the camera calibration node with ethzasl_ptam, I get a pretty bad calibration. It says on the wiki the pixel error should be below .5, but I consistantly get around .7. The thing I find strange is when I use the orginal PTAM source code (found here just click on license and download link, and follow build directions) I get an error below .5. I can't figure out what acounts for this discrepency/bad calibration. I am using openCV to pass a mono8 video stream, camera running at 30 fps, and everything seems to be set up right. Yet the calibration is pretty bad, and the trracking gets lost pretty quikly. Anyone who has run this node and can tell me what they did would be apreciated. Thanks.
