Hi,

I was wondering whether it is possible to run python code on a windows machine and have it connect to a ros master that is running on ubuntu. I came across a ros wiki page which talks using rospy to write nodes on a windows machine and having ros master running on the same machine. I also found this which ports a bunch of ros stuff to windows and have it connect to a ros master on ubuntu, however, it doesnt seem to port rospy.

Has anyone tried doing this? If so, could someone point to some documentation or give me an overview on how to get started? Any help is appreciated.
