cannot install ros-indigo-navigation

Hi,

Very simple question, when I run sudo apt-get install ros-indigo-navigation, I get the following:

The following packages have unmet dependencies: ros-indigo-navigation : Depends: ros-indigo-map-server but it is not going to be installed

Which makes me think something deeper is broken in my ros indigo package. Before I remove ros-indigo and reinstall it.. would anybody have a suggestion. I am on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Thanks

Side note: trying to get the baysian filter library, but was running the same issue as stated here

Afaict both navigation and map_server have been released. Have you tried an apt-get update?

It could be related to the Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS issue as stated here: http://answers.ros.org/question/195712/cannot-install-ros-indigo-on-ubuntu-1404-unmet-dependencies/ Did you try the fix mentioned there?

Hello, I'm working with the robot and the kinect sensor, I'm a beginner and I'd like to know if using kinect needs to change its code, if it comes ready to use, but what is the procedure?
