arduino ros lost sync issue

it seems like many people have this problem before. Why my arduino says lost sync all the time? any suggestion for this error. My code in arduino is very short just a few lines. It only runs for 3s and then lost sync. Arduino Mega board is serial connected to my laptop through usb. My laptop process data from kinect to arduino.

Is your arduino and kinect on the same USB bus? And how heavily loaded is your laptop? Can you edit your question with any info from lsusb, dmesg, or syslog which might be relevant?

hi, i managed to make it worked few weeks ago. Now i started working on the project again, sane error happens again.my laptop has 3 usb ports, 2 usb 2.0, one usb 3. both connected to usb 2.0. I wonder how to solve this issue. I understand the rosserial work is still in progress
