Obstacle detection using ROS?
Hello people,I'm new to ROS and I'm trying to write a program in ROS for robust obstacle detection in interior spaces (rooms etc...) .I have learned a little bit of ROS using this WEB-site,and now I'm looking for solutions on this topic,algorithms,examples etc.I'm going to use Hukoyo laser for detection.So if anyone has materials on this topic(ROS programs) I would be very grateful.

i am assuming you want to learn about some type of mapping of the indoor environment where the obstacles are marked in it, Check out costmap_2d and gmapping or any other mapping mechanisms.
