What is the difference between Asus Xtion and Microsoft Kinect? Can both of them produce RGB-D point clouds in hardware? Does Kinect have IMU?

They both use the same 3D sensor from Primesense and produce RGB-D pointcoulds.

The Kinect has an embedded tilt motor and needs an external power source.

The Asus is smaller than the Kinect and can be powered from the USB current.

None of them has an IMU.
