RVIZ cpp implementation possible? [closed]

Hi I'm just wondering if it were possible for me to manually work with rivz. I'm currently trying to create a gui, and I'd like that to link into rivz, however I do not want all that 'extra' add-on burden that normally comes with rivz, i'd just like the grid to be visible (I'm plotting the trajectory of a drone). Is this possible at all? (or perhaps is there a simpler solution than manually importing an rviz cpp library?)
