rqt visualization capabilities

Hello All,

As part of my master's thesis I'm actually evaluating the functional behaviour of a node that is subscribing data from different sources in order to merge data. Therefore the (asynchronous) topic communication pattern is used. Data and queue sizes of the subscribed topics are visualized through rqt.

Now, I'm wondering if rqt provides an opportunity to visualize a dotted line (instead of a line that interpolates between two data packets) in order to see better when a data packet arrived in rqt.
