openni_launch and openni_camera problems

Dear ROS Friends:

   I am using Hydro version in Odorid U2 and U3,  but I can not view/echo the rgb and depth images at the same time, e.g. 
  rostopic echo /camera/rgb/image_mono
  rostopic echo /camera/depth/image

  I just can view/echo one of them at one time, can not view/echo them at the same time. Any suggestions?

What happens when you try to echo both? Does one start? Does something crash?

jbinney, thank you for your answer, finally, I solved it by re-install the driver from openni website .
